Mamertus

Mamertus is a typeface family inspired by work in the vegetable garden. It is dedicated to dirty hands, sharp tools and the priceless independency of growing ones own food. As a monospace family, Mamertus refers to the typewriter, although the contrast in the strokes derives from a calligraphic practice. The family consists of three interchangeable cuts: A serif regular, a serif bold and a sans serif regular. Further, a selection of alternative glyphs break away from the rigid monospace grid and encourage a more playful use the typeface.
