Seeschlachten und Eukalyptus

This photography project draws upon my personal experience to set up the immaterial geography of a place. Heimat is the origin, where identity is forged. Diffuse, it is more an impression than a place, as it is situated somewhere between Constantine, Tunis, Männedorf — and other cities. My Heimat is indeed in constant movement. Composed of childhood memories and of fragments of utopia, it encompasses gestures, objects, landscapes and wanderings. The rare permanent features in this universe are the masculine figures, appearing here and there, surrounded by fleeing images.
